Trips, Trips, and More Trips! Nothing makes us happier than hearing about your adventures and travels, and this season seems to be one of the most exciting yet! From the sounds of things, there won't be too many regions of the globe that will be escaping the footsteps of Wilderness Voyagers customers. We have been busy outfitting trips to Peru, Honduras, China, India, Australia, and Russia. We've also heard about some great trips to Philmont Ranch in New Mexico, various points in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado and Wyoming, and the Chugach Range in Alaska. All in all, it sounds like this season is a great time to be out and about!

Is My Water Bottle Safe?? As the effects and possible dangers of exposure to BPA receives media coverage, we hear this question from more and more customers. In short, if your bottle is new, you have nothing to worry about. BPA is an organic substance that was used in the linings of many older water bottles. When one of these bottles was heated, BPA content within the inner lining had a tendency to "leach out" into the contacting liquid. Harmless over a single consumption, these leachings were proven to pose a possible hormonal risk to those who regualrly exposed themselves to large quantities of such transferred content over vast periods of time. In response, each company from which we receive lexan bottles (Camelbak and Nalgene) have changed thier chemical formulas to completely preclude BPA from bottle construction. This ensures that you can trust your bottle to deliver refreshing water, and nothing else.
